five operating segments – Aerospace, Automotive, Metal Coating, Specialty
Chemicals, and Other Products – Focused on operations with a strong technological
component, the company holds positions of leadership in key industries and continues
to extend its market reach through both internal and external growth strategies.
Title: Director of Taxes
Responsibilities Summary:
Supervise the various tax functions of the company, including but not limited
to: federal and state tax compliance, the management of tax audits, financial
statement reporting and participation in research and planning for tax savings
and acquisitions and dispositions. Individual must have experience in managing
the efforts of supervisors and multiple employees in a multiple tax function
particularly with regard to responsibilities for managing consolidations for
financial statement and tax returns reporting.
Selected candidates will possess the following:
• A minimum of 8-10 years related tax experience,
• Excellent computer skills and experience utilizing tax software tools,
• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university,
• CPA required.
Candidates should also have strong interpersonal skills; be comfortable with and able to effectively interact with senior-level executives; possess the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors; and, a team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Compensation: Base salary to $150K plus 30% bonus potential, plus an excellent
benefit plan. Job location: Northern New Jersey.
